2D and 3D design is easy if you start with a precise technical sketch.
Starting with the basic techniques of pattern making on paper, you will go on to master Lectra’s 2D software and learn to create computerized designs.
In addition, you will learn to use CLO3D to produce virtual garments through creating and dressing a 3D avatar. This software permits its users to design garments directly on the mannequin and extract the pattern pieces automatically, simulating fabric softness, draping, and padding. CLO3D also allows you to make changes to the pattern, modify the color and fit, and visualize the garment as though it were real.
